The theme for this week’s photo challenge is “Enveloped“.
I’ve got three pictures here from Ningle Terrace, a small shopping village near Furano Prince Hotel at Furano in central Hokkaido, Japan. The shops in this area are all wooden cottages selling mainly handcrafts and artistic items. There are around 15 shops connected by an artificial trail made of wooden planks. The whole village is enveloped in a dense little forest and being in it is just like visiting a small elven village.
In summer, as you can see in these pictures, the village is completely enveloped in green and in winter when all the leaves had fallen, the envelope is replaced by white snow and it becomes an Elven Christmas Market.
