Rogner Bad Blumau is Spa resort and the magic of Hundertwasser made it look like a fairy tale village more than a commercial resort. Having said that, it IS a resort and therefore inevitably, there must be some resort elements within.
This picture shows the main building of the resort and it’s outdoor pool. Even though it still has a lot of Hundertwasser elements like the use of curves and the colourful outlook, the spirit of his design is clearly missed: the harmony of human and nature. Don’t get me wrong – I am not complaining here as it is really a nice resort. Yet this picture shows that Hundertwasser is not just about curves and colours, it’s about how his design can fuse into the surrounding to create a harmony. Obviously I am not Hundertwasser so I won’t know how he felt but I strongly think that this main resort area would probably be the one he was least satisfied.
