Not much to say in this post as it’s just a continuation of our last post on Icebergs we saw in Greenland. As said in the last post, I was amazed to see so many different shapes of Icebergs. The one you see here is another very interesting piece.
Looking from far away, this iceberg looked like a sea turtle with a spiky shell. As the lens I had wasn’t a wide angle lens and I was aware of it only when we were closer, I could only capture part of it in one shot. As we moved closer, we saw a very beautiful phenomenon – the sunlight penetrated through the other side into the ice and together with light reflection from the water, the iceberg looked like having a glowing core.
I really wanted to know an iceberg can be formed in such shape. It looked like a strong wave of water being frozen suddenly!
