When I first saw this week’s photo challenge about “Change”, I did not have any good idea and intended to pass. Then my wife suggested I can post a picture I took in Prague which was an autumn scene with different colours. I thought it was a good idea and so I went to look at it. At the end, I did not pick that picture but instead picked this one which was taken in the same trip. I thought it fits even better with the theme.
The picture was taken at Petřín Hill, a small hill in the centre of Prague, Czech Republic. It represents 3 changes:
– It was taken in autumn, or more precisely, in the transition from summer to autumn. You can see some of the trees were still green but at the same time, lots of fallen yellow leaves.
– It was taken at the time when day became night. There was still trace of daylight but darkness was coming and the street lamps were turned on already.
– It was the last picture I took in that trip. We were leaving our vacation in Prague and went back to working life in London.
